FORT SHAFTER, Hawaii – The U.S. Army War College's Unified Command Course (USAWC) International Fellows (IFs) visit headquarters U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) on February 18, 2026, to gain insights into leadership and strategic decision-making within the Indo-Pacific region.
USARPAC Deputy Commanding General Maj. Gen. Lance Okamura welcomed the IF’s, made opening remarks and expressed the importance of our partners and allies.
USARPAC exposes IFs to strategic perspectives and the elements of national power that shape the implementation of U.S. national security strategy in the Indo-Pacific Theater during their visit.
The visit provided the IFs with a deeper understanding of how partnerships are fundamental to overcoming regional challenges.
