 MISSION BRIEF    SECTIONS
Yama Sakura is an annual bilateral exercise with Japanese and U.S. military forces. YS 61 is a U.S. Army simulation-driven joint bilateral command post exercise designed to enhance U.S. and Japan combat readiness and interoperability while strengthening bilateral relationships and demonstrating U.S. resolve to support the security interests of allies and partners in the region.
