CAMP TAJI, Iraq - Staff Sgt. Chad Ryan, a Sterling, Ill., native, gives additional training on the M-16 rifle May 19 with an Iraqi Army soldier from the 2nd Battalion, 31st Brigade, 8th Iraqi Army Division, to ensure his tactical knowledge of the weapon is passed on to the IA soldier. The IA and Soldiers from1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment “Wolfhounds," 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, work together to ensure the safety and security of the Taji Qada, northwest of Baghdad. Ryan is a mortar section sergeant assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Bn., 27th Inf. Regt.

CAMP TAJI, Iraq Lt. Col. Richard “Flip" Wilson, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., listens to security concerns from leaders from the 36th Brigade, 9th Iraqi Army Division. The IA and Soldiers from1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment “Wolfhounds," 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, work together to ensure the safety and security of the Taji Qada, northwest of Baghdad. Wilson commands the “Wolfhounds" and has been working with the Iraqi Army to ensure that this region remains secure to provide the Government of Iraq the opportunity to provide essential services to the residents.
