MND-B Soldiers strengthen ties with SoI leaders


 

CAMP TAJI, Iraq – Col. Todd McCaffrey, commander, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team "Warrior," 25th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, speaks to local Sons of Iraq (Abna al-Iraq) leaders May 3 at the Sheik Support Center in Taji Qada, northwest of Baghdad. The sheiks agreed to uphold promises to maintain security through SoI checkpoints.

CAMP TAJI, Iraq – A local Sons of Iraq (Abna al-Iraq) leader signs a contract promising to maintain security of the area through SoI checkpoints in the Taji Qada, northwest of Baghdad, May 3. Criminal activity has decreased since the formation of SoI checkpoints and the support of local leaders and Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldiers.
