CAMP TAJI, Iraq - Pfc. Daniel Cortes, a Corona, N.Y., native who serves as an infantryman with Company B, 52nd Infantry Regiment (Anti-Tank) attached to 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment "Wolfhounds," 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team "Warrior," 25th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, secures the Hor al Bosh market during a dismounted patrol March 24. Cortes has been assisting the people in the Taji Qada, which is northwest of Baghdad, for nearly four-months by keeping their streets and homes safe from insurgents.
