Maj. Gen. Curtis A. Loop received his commission through ROTC at Oregon State University in 1966, from where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Math. He went on to earn a Master of Science in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. Also a graduate of the US Army War College, Maj. Gen. Loop served as the Deputy Commander for Mobilization and Reserve Affairs, US Army, Pacific from 1999 until his retirement in 2003.
USARPAC postures and prepares the force for unified land operations, responds to threats, sustains and protects the force, and builds military relationships that develop partner defense capacity in order to contribute to a stable and secure U.S. Pacific Command area of responsibility.
