The mission of the Asia-Pacific Counter-IED Center is to provide training programs, intelligence products, and partner nation capacity building to enhance survivability of US and Partner Nations and neutralize the irregular warfare threat. We will defeat insurgent IED Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) endemic throughout USPACOM and Overseas Contingency Operations through the proper application of kinetic and non-kinetic enablers that will facilitate our ability to Attack the Network, Defeat the Device, Train the Force, and Enable Partner Nations.

U.S. Army Pacific’s newly established Asia-Pacific Counter – Improvised Explosive Device Center provides servicemembers stationed in the Pacific area of operations access to cutting-edge training in the fight to defeat IEDs.
