FIRST SERGEANT ROBERT G. WILLIAMS entered the United States Army in October 1992 and attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Sill, OK as a Field Artillery Cannon Crewmember. He reclassified as a 31B, Military Police Officer, in July 1996 and attended Military Police Advanced Individual Training at Fort McClellan, AL.
First Sergeant Williams has served in numerous duty positions, including: Howitzer Driver, Cannoneer, A Battery 3/1 FA, Bamberg, Germany; Ammunition Specialist, Ammunition Team Chief, SVC Battery 1/15 FA, Camp Kasey, Korea; Team Leader, 170th Military Police Company, Fort Lewis, WA; Ammunition/Resource NCO, HHD 504th Military Police Battalion, Fort Lewis, WA; Investigative Team Chief, Schofield Barracks Military Police Company, Schofield Barracks, HI; Team Leader, 58th Military Police Company, Schofield Barracks, HI; Squad Leader, 988th Military Police Company, Fort Benning, GA; Squad Leader and Platoon Sergeant, 13th Military Police Company, Vicenza, Italy; Provost Sergeant, United States Army Garrison, Camp Darby, Italy; Antiterrorism/Force Protection NCOIC, HQ MCP United States Army Pacific, Fort Shafter, HI; Operations Sergeant, 552nd Military Police Company, Schofield Barracks, HI; First Sergeant, 202nd Military Police Company, Kandahar City, Afghanistan; and is currently the Deputy Commandant of the Noncommissioned Officer Academy-Hawaii.
First Sergeant Williams’ Military and Civilian Education includes: Basic Training, Cannon Crewmember Course, Warrior Leaders Course, Military Police Course, Military Police Investigation Course, Domestic Violence Intervention Course, Basic Airborne Training Course, Total Army Instructors Training Course, Small Group Leader Instructors Training Course, Unit Prevention Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, Antiterrorism/Force Protection Level II Course, Safety Officers Course, Law Enforcement Senior Leaders Course, Contracting Officer Representative Course, Antiterrorism Officer Basic Course, Conventional Physical Security Course, and the Antiterrorism Program Managers Course. He is currently working on a Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia Southern University.

First Sergeant Williams has deployed in support of several real world contingencies to Panama, Egypt, and Philippines. He also has one combat tour to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom I and two combat tours to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom V-VI and X-XI.
