SFC French, James M.

SERGEANT FIRST CLASS JAMES M. FRENCH was born in Los Angeles, California. He entered the United States Army on I July 1997. He attended Basic Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, Virginia as 92G, Food Service Specialist.

SFC French's assignments and duty stations include: Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Houston Texas, Fort Carson, Colorado, Camp Long, Korea. Sergeant First Class French has deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom 2003 to 2004 and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan from 2010 to 2011.

He has served in numerous leadership positions which include: First Cook, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Food Operations Manger, Administration Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge, Assistant Dining Facility Manager, and Senior Food Operations Manger. Sergeant First Class French has also been awarded titles such as Platoon Sergeant and more currently, the Non-Commissioned Officer Academy Hawaii dining Facility Manager.

SFC French's schools and military training include: Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Senior Leader Course, Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education Course, Sharp Course, Food Service Management, Demo Senior Logist, Field Sanitation Team-Individual, Combative Level 1, Army Recruiter and Combat Life Savers Course.
