Army Family Team Building (AFTB) is designed to provide training and knowledge to spouses to support the total Army effort. Strong families are the pillar of support behind strong Soldiers. It is AFTB's mission to educate and train all of the Army in knowledge, skills, and behaviors designed to prepare our Army families to move successfully into the future. All military family members are welcome to attend.
Students will be offered the option to enroll their spouses in the AFTB training during their in-processing. Enrolled spouses will receive an enrollment notification from the AFTB coordinator. Please R.S.V.P. to this email so that we can get an accurate head count for our luncheon. BLC Hawaii conducts AFTB training on the fifth or sixth training day of each cycle from 0800 to 1600. Spouses are encouraged to attend the various classes provided by the AFTB instructors. During the class, spouses will take a tour of the BLC area and be welcomed to attend a luncheon with their spouse. You must be present for the entire seminar to attend the luncheon with your spouse. Please call the AFTB coordinator for information on daycare vouchers and options.
