MG Michael J. Terry, Commanding General
Major General Michael J. Terry, a native of Pennsylvania, received his commission and Bachelor of Science Degree in Law Enforcement from the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania in 1979. He holds a Masters Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island. Major General Terry's military education consists of the Quartermaster Basic and Advance Courses, the Combined Arms Services Staff School, Marine Corps Command and Staff College and The Naval War College.
MG Terry's previous assignments include the 25th Infantry
Division, Hawaii where he served at the company and Division Support Command
(DISCOM)
levels. After completing the Advance Course, he was assigned to The Defense
Personnel Support
Center, Philadelphia as Aide to the Commanding General. His next assignment
was to the 3d
Infantry Division (Mechanized), Germany at the DISCOM and battalion level,
completing that tour
as Commander, Supply and Service Company, 4th Support Battalion (Main). Upon
returning from
Germany, he performed the duties as Board Recorder at the DA Secretariat For
Selection Boards,
PERSCOM, Alexandria, Virginia followed by attendance at Marine Command and
Staff College,
Quantico, Virginia. After graduation, he was posted to the Directorate for
Logistics and Security
Assistance (J4/7), USCENTCOM, MacDill AFB, Florida where he served as a
Logistics Operations
Staff Officer, and later, Executive Officer to the Director, J4/7. During
this assignment, he deployed
as a member of the USCENTCOM Staff to Southwest Asia in support of
Operations DESERT
SHIELD AND DESERT STORM. He then returned to the 3d Infantry Division
(Mechanized) in
Germany and the Main Support Battalion, redesignated the 703d MSB, as
Support Operations
Officer, and later, DISCOM Executive Officer. His next assignment was at Ft.
Carson, Colorado as
Commander of the Regimental Support Squadron ("Muleskinners!"), 3d Armored
Cavalry
Regiment. After attending the Naval War College, he was assigned to the
Directorate of Logistics
and Security Assistance, (J4), USEUCOM, Germany where he first served as
Chief, Logistics
Operations Division and then as the Deputy Director, J4. He then assumed
command of the 64th
Corps Support Group (Forward), 13th Corps Support Command (COSCOM), Ft.
Hood, Texas,
deploying with the Group to Iraq supporting the 4th Infantry Division
(Mechanized) and V Corps
units during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. Upon return from Iraq, he was assigned
as Assistant
Division Commander for Support, 7th Infantry Division (Light) and Ft.
Carson, Colorado. His next
assignment was in Washington, DC as the Director of Plans, Operations, and
Readiness, Deputy
Chief of Staff G-4. His next assignment was as the Commanding
General, 13th COSCOM,
later redesignated as the 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), Ft.
Hood, Texas. During his
command tenure, the 13th deployed to New Orleans and Southwest Louisiana in
support of humanitarian relief efforts after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and
then to Iraq during Operation
IRAQI FREEDOM rotation 06-08 where the 13th performed as the senior
logistics command in
Iraq, supporting Multi-National Corps - Iraq. MG Terry's last assignment was as the Commanding General of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command, Fort Belvoir, Va.
MG Terry's awards include the Distinguished Service Medal, the Defense Superior Service Medal, The Legion of
Merit (with 3
Oak Leafs), Bronze Star Medal (with 2 Oak Leafs), Defense Meritorious
Service Medal (2 Oak

COL Charles F. Maskell, Deputy Commanding Officer
Colonel Maskell was born in New London, Connecticut. He graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Infantry. Colonel Maskell has held a variety of command and staff positions.
His assignments include Platoon Leader and Executive Officer of B Company, 2d Battalion, 23d Infantry Regiment, Fort Lewis, Washington; DISCOM Adjutant of 2d AD DISCOM; Chief, Plans and Operations, 49th Transportation Battalion (Movement Control), Fort Hood, Texas; Company Commander, Delta Company, 706th Main Support Battalion and Battalion S-3, 706th Support Battalion, 6th ID (L) Fort Wainwright, Alaska; Division Transportation Officer, 1st Cavalry Division, Executive Officer, 180th Transportation Battalion at Fort Hood, Texas, Joint Transportation Staff Officer for United States European Command in Stuttgart, Germany and Chief, Plans and Ops, G4 V Corps, Heidelberg Germany. COL Maskell commanded the 181st Transportation Battalion during OIF 1 in Iraq as well as in Mannheim, Germany. COL Maskell served as the Support Operations Officer for the 21st Theater Sustainment Command in Kaiserslautern, Germany and Tbilisi, Georgia. Prior to his assignment as the Deputy Commander of the 8th Theater Sustainment Command he served as the Commander of the 7th Sustainment Brigade at Fort Eustis, Virginia. During that assignment he deployed the Brigade to Port au Prince, Haiti for Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief operations in support of Operation Unified Response.
Colonel Maskell's military education includes the Infantry Officer Basic and Transportation Corps Advanced Courses, Airborne, Air Assault, and Northern Warfare Courses, Combined Arms Service Staff School, Logistics Executive Development Course, and the Command and General Staff College. Colonel Maskell holds a Master of Science Degree from the Florida Institute of Technology. He graduated from the Naval War College in Newport, RI and also holds a Masters Degree from that institution.
Colonel Maskell’s awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star (1 OLC), the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (3 OLC), the Army Commendation Medal (2 OLC), the Joint Service Commendation Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
COL Maskell and his wife have a son and a daughter.

NATHAN J. HUNT III
8th Theater Sustainment Command
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Command Sergeant Major Nathan J. Hunt III entered the Army on 13 September 1983 and completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky. He received his Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, Virginia and was awarded the MOS 76W, Petroleum Supply Specialist.
Command Sergeant Major Hunt has held numerous positions throughout his military career, his assignments include: Fuel Handler assigned to the 407th S&S Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division, Ft Bragg, North Carolina; POL Platoon Sergeant, 11th Aviation Brigade, VII Corps, Wiesbaden, Germany; Class II, IV, VII Warehouse NCOIC / Class IX Warehouse NCOIC / Platoon Sergeant 782nd Main Support Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Class IX Materiel Management NCOIC, 2nd MMC, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Casey Korea; Logistics Automation NCOIC, 1st Support Battalion, Multinational Forces and Observers, El Gora, Egypt; Support Operations NCOIC, 307th Forward Support Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg North Carolina; First Sergeant, HQ&A Company 407th Forward Support Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg North Carolina; First Sergeant, E. He is a graduate of Class 52, United States Army Sergeants Major Academy and the Command Sergeant Major Course. His civilian education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and he is currently working on a Masters Degree with Central Michigan University.
