field for the annual “Turkey Bowl”, in-which the

Medical professionals participate in third
Vietnam outreach mission
Fort Shafter,
HI – Personnel from 18th
Medical Command (Deployment Support) and Pacific
Regional Medical Command and Tripler Army
Medical Center participated in the third Vietnam
Bilateral Military Medical Outreach (BMMO),
Medical First Responder (MFR) training, and a
Subject Matter Expert Exchange with Vietnamese
Armed Forces personnel in order to enhance host
country medical proficiency and further
contribute to their medical readiness 7-18 July.

Competition

are the winners of the unit's noncommissioned
officer and Soldier of the Year Competition.
They will advance to the Pacific Region Medical
Command's competition held 31 Jan. - 4 Feb.

124th Medical Detachment preps to deploy
The 124th
Medical Detachment, 18th
Medical Deployment Support Command, completed a
field training exercise, which ran from 19-20
Jan., on Fort Shafter Flats, evaluated the
deployment readiness and mobility of the unit’s
equipment, and allowed the unit to train-up for
upcoming exercises and eventually a deployment
later this spring.
